In my Global Business class we did a presentation about the working conditions in Brazil. This was to help find out more of the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing jobs. It is crucial to have knowledge on where to outsource to be financially efficient and stay competitive as a company. As globalization continues to happen it is important to research and be careful of supporting the wrong kind of business practices. For example, we found for the most part Brazilians have way more benefits in theory, but in actuality loopholes are used to make them technically pass or they would just fire anyone who would try and complain as it is cheaper for them to get sued than to follow the regulations. One such example was providing free meals to employees for every eight hours worked, so they would provide crackers in a locked cabinet on a different floor than the employees.
